You won’t be able to resist the temptation of climbing it and once you reached the summit gaze at the seething lava. This spectacle more than compensates the efforts of the 4-6 hour tour. You don’t have to be a mountaineer to do the all-day climbing, but you should be relatively fit and healthy.
